Weekend Happenings...

Well we had a pretty busy weekend here in the Patterson household! Blane continues to change and grow everyday! He turned 5 months old on Saturday! EVERYTHING goes from the hand to the mouth now! Even things that don't quite fit: Eeeekkkk...he is just about to outgrow his favorite swing. He squeals at the top of his lungs in delight when he gets to swing!
On Saturday night Scott and I hosted a baby shower for our best friends Tiffany and Brandon. We had SO much fun and she got such great gifts! Our good friends Lauren and Mike were able to come to Dallas for the baby shower and got to meet Blane for the first time!

Mike, are you confused about something???

Scott had fun at the Couple's Baby Shower too! He made some yummy chocolate martini's for the crowd!

Even though the boys would escape for quick bouts of guitar hero, I think that they actually had some fun doing the baby thing.

Lauren and Mike were so sweet to bring Blane a gift of a light up drum set. He loves them! Thanks guys!

We are really excited to begin a little backyard constuction project this week. The project is scheduled to take 5 days, but we are predicting lots of rain, so we'll see. Here are the before pictures!

Hi Jen! Thanks for the sweet comment. I posted pictures of the new house today....just for you!! We miss you guys too. Blane is so adorable! He looks like such a little man now. It's so weird how they change overnight from looking like a baby to looking like a little person. Are we still going to the zoo? If so, we can't wait. We kindof wanted to go to the Dallas Aquarium. I've heard some awesome things about it, especially from our Aunt.
