Easter and Houston Fun

This past week, Scott headed out of town for a 7 day work week. Blane and I knew that we would be so sad (and scared) here without him, so we packed up all of our belongings, and headed to Houston to stay with my parents (oh, and the dogs came too!) As much as we missed Daddy, Blane and I had the most amazing and relaxing week with Grammie and Grandaddy! It was such a blessing to be pampered and loved on. Jesus really showed us his love through my parents this week! We could hardly believe it when a whole week had flown by!
Mom and Dad surprised Blane with a sand and water table for him to play with. He had so much fun helping Dad put the parts together.
The table was adorable and Blane loved making mud pies!

Experimenting with the shovel and sand

Mom prepared an Easter basket full of eggs early in the week so that Blane could practice Easter egg hunting before the "real deal" on Easter Sunday
He really enjoyed toting his basket with him

One evening, we took Blane to a little water spray park to play. He was very interested in contemplating life in this picture

Water up the nose!
All snuggled up with mommy

On Easter morning I had his Elmo basket all ready to surprise him with!

Bunny ears! (and isn't he cute in his Easter tie?!)

Mommy and Blane before church.

After church we headed to brunch. They offered an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos which ended up being inside because of the bad rain storm. Dad had to hold Blane back until the hunt started!

Blane adored the Easter bunny and would hardly leave his side
Gran bought Blane this really cute pet hamster toy!
Eating a lime at Cheesecake Factory!

These are so cute and it looks like y'all had an awesome time! We actually had the same Easter basket this year. Elmo's a fav! Blane is so handsome in his tie too. Can't believe baby #2 will be here so soon.
