Gavin is one month old today!!! It seems like just yesterday that I couldn't wait to meet him, and now he's so old! We call him "the grunter" because he groans and grunts up a storm! He's much more alert now and it's so funny to watch him smile and even laugh in his sleep! He loves to be on his play mat and he's even liking his tummy time! His other favorite activity is bath time, who doesn't love a nice cool bath after sweating in this heat?! He is SUCH a good baby...he has been much easier than Blane was in my opinion! He is sleeping a good 5 hour stretch at night, followed by a 20 minute feeding, then off to bed for another 2-3 hours! That makes for a happy mommy and wife! Gavin is also doing great at nursing, which makes me so happy! And, he will easily take a bottle with formula...even from me!!! And unlike Blane, he's really taken to his paci which makes me wonder, will it be easier to break Gavin from a paci, or Blane from sucking his thumb??? Gavin's sleeping situation is unique...we moved him out of our room when he was 11 days old (we just couldn't sleep through all that grunting!). But he didn't move far, just into the dining room (the upstairs is too far for me twice a night!) and he actually sleeps in his bouncy seat! Whatever works...... : ) I love, love, love my sweet little boy! And for those of you wondering, it IS true that you can love both kids just as much! What a blessing motherhood is! 1 Month Stats:

Such a gentle big brother---SOOO CUTE!
Too sweet. It's fun to watch them - my nephews are almost exactly 2 years apart, and when we're out to eat you'll catch them looking at each other and giggling like they have some silent communication.
