Easter Advent Day 12

Christ has risen from the dead, trampling over death by death! Oh, church! Come stand in the light! The glory of God has defeated the night! Our God is not dead! He's alive, He's alive!!!

The kids were genuinely excited and surprised to wake up and find the tomb empty, with the angel sitting on top. "He's alive!" they exclaimed.

We worshiped with our church, The Body of Christ. Amidst great suffering and fresh grieving and the sin and brokenness of this fallen world
in which we live; we still proclaim, together, that we have a greater hope. One day every tear will be wiped away, death and mourning will be no more, neither will there be crying or pain because this order of things will pass away. Our struggle with sin will be no more and we will finally be fully and completely redeemed and restored and made totally new! We were purchased at a great cost and we now live in response to the grace and mercy that was shown us. Thanks be to God the Father!
