Merry Christmas 2009!!!

The boys and I (when I say "boys", I'm referring to Scott as well!) had the most wonderful Christmas this year! We decided to head to Houston to Grammie and Grandaddy's house to spend the holiday. We had SO much fun! Even though we missed out on the Dallas snow, it was still cold enough to feel like December : ) We wrapped gifts, made Christmas cookies, talked about Jesus, attended Christmas Eve service, went ice skating, stayed up late playing cards and drinking cocktails, had a Happy Birthday Jesus party, ate amazing food.....Despite our quick trip to the ER on Christmas day (more on that in a later post), our day spent celebrating Jesus was so special! Thanks Grammie and Grandaddy! We love you!

When we got home on Saturday, there was enough snow left on the ground to play in, which Blane thought was so much fun!

Here are some favorite pics from Christmas this year. Very out of order!

Blane wrapping the gift he made for Grandaddy. He was SO proud!

Nothing like tasting a Christmas cookie straight from the oven
One of Scotts gifts is a trip to go turkey hunting! This camo head piece was in his stocking. Doesn't baby look good?!

Blowing out the candle on our Jesus birthday cupcake!
Playing in the leftover snow back in Dallas
