Easter Advent day 2 and 3

Today we read from John 13, Matthew 26, and Mark 14 - Jesus washing his disciples feet, offering the bread and wine at the Passover meal with his disciples, and praying in the garden of Gethsemane. The boys and I talked through the symbolism of feet washing and we each took turns washing each others feet. What a sweet time it was (see pics below). We also began memorizing our verse from Galatians 2:20 which Blane conquered by the end of today. Lastly, we spent the majority of the day rein acting the entire Easter story using our Easter garden and bible story figurines. This was a huge hit and really made what we have been reading come to life. I do so pray and hope that God uses all of this head knowledge and story repetition to change and soften little hearts, that their hearts of stone would become hearts of flesh.

Enjoy the sweet pictures from today!!!
