Ft Worth Stockshow and Rodeo

We had a blast this weekend at the Ft. Worth Stockshow and Rodeo! We were especially excited to see the herding dog trials on Saturday morning - since we own Australian Shepherds. The arena was pretty packed and quiet as the handlers commanded their dogs to herd goats through different obstacles. Once handler kept telling her dog "lay down!' over and over. All the sudden you hear Blane yell out, "Lay down pup!" very loudly! He was just trying to make sure that dog knew what he was supposed to be doing ; )

Then we headed over to see the cows, some horses, the petting zoo, and horse rides. Blane was able to feed goats, ducks, chickens, llamas, and rabbits. There was even a baby goat - he was adorable! I think Blane's favorite part of the day was riding Brownie, the horse. I would be so excited if my future was being the mom of a cowboy!
