Kenya - Day 5 and 6

Yesterday the guys headed a couple miles down the road to Living Proof Baptist Church in Limuru where Casey was scheduled to preach. They joke about the very lax African time frame and wondered when church would start and end. They arrived at a small building constructed of sheet metal and cardboard where the ceiling barely rose above their heads. Scott described it as wonderfully festive but extremely poor. The head pastor, Lionus invited Scott to share his testimony regarding his time spent in the Army and his experience of trusting Jesus as an American soldier. After Scott's testimony and Casey's message plus a couple hours of worship the guys headed back "home" (but supposedly church hadn't yet ended!)

Today Casey led a pastoral workshop and I am confident that the Lord used Casey in mighty ways to inspire and equip and love on His people! Enjoy today's pics!!
