Ashley 17 months

I may not have blogged about her in a while, but this girl is not easily forgotten. In fact, she has grown and changed by leaps and bounds the last two months. When Scott returned from Kenya, he admittedly came home to a different daughter. Ashley's vocabulary is increasing daily. Mamma, Daddy, Blane, puppy, thank you, yes ma'am, more, hi, bye, bird, and ball are words she's fluent in. She adores animals, especially dogs, has the most sincere toothy smile, and is eager to run and play with and tackle her big brothers. This girl is fearless and can scale just about anything in the house - literally. She is hungry all the time and consumes more volume than even the boys. She's into shoes and necklaces and I often find her sorting and trying on all of the shoes she can find in the cubbies. Blane will swing her and tease her lovingly and dote on her and unbuckle her from the car. How precious it is to see him learning what it means to love and protect his little sister. What a blessing to have a sweet little girl in the house.
