Trick-or-Treat 2009

I love Halloween because it means that Fall has finally arrived and we get a whole day of fun family time together! Scott took the day with some buddies and headed to Waco for the Baylor game - while Blane napped from 1:30 to 5! As soon as Daddy got home we got to work carving our jack-o-lantern. Such fun but I had forgotten how yucky and smelly it is! Blane had the best time putting a 'smiley face' on mr. pumpkin. Then we grilled burgers and got all dressed up! As you can see, Blane was a fire fighter and baby was a tiger! Blane's friend Turner came over to trick or treat with us and it was obvious that the boys had a blast! Blane would say, "Turner over?" Blane didn't know quite what to do at first. He didn't really understand the concept of putting candy in his pumpkin basket. He would rather eat it! But after about 3 or 4 houses, he started hoarding candy and loving knocking on each door! He would say, "Next door?!" or "More candy!" We went up and down the street and as soon as we were done we had to survey the loot!
